Happy Valentines Day!!

I will start this blog with Valentines day since its the most recent thing that happened! Again, the girls just make everything better! I had so much fun dressing them up and doing this for Michael.

Okay so lets back track a little....In January we decided to go to Kingwood to celebrate Brian (Kendl;s husband), Erin (Kendl's soon to be sis in law), and my birthday. The girls got to come too!! We had so much fun hanging out at he house on Friday night and then us girls went to the nail salon Saturday morning. Kai and Jax were little angels and we promised them that they would get to have their nails done when they got a little older ;) On Saturday afternoon Kendl's mom Tina (grandmother to Kendl's sister's twins) came to watch the girls while we got ready and headed out to dinner and dancing. Thank you so much for watching the girls Tina...They loved you :) Thank you Kendl for making our bday celebrations so special! We love you sooo much!

6 Months old!!

The girls turned 6 months on January 20th. They had their doctor visit and everything went great, expect for the shots :( they were so much more aware this time so it seemed like they cried harder and a little longer.

Yep they have started to really explore with their fingers ;)

We finally got to have Christmas with Nini, Christina and Caitlynn! We enjoyed having them all here and getting to have Christmas here a little longer! We ate really well and opened gifts!

Cousins hanging out while we ate

me and Noah! <3

Superbowl!! When Superbowl  Sunday rolled around we placed our bets and had Andy, Arielle, and Jessie over to watch the game and eat lots of healthy food :-P The Giants winning meant Michael and I won 2nd and 3rd place in our Yahoo pick'ems!!! Thanks Alan for sending our winnings so quickly! :)

This is how my  girls rolled on Superbowl Sunday :p Thanks Aunt Kendl for our cute outfits...Kai

They loved their visitors, Jessie and Kai, Arielle and Jax

This past weekend we headed down to Columbus to visit Cece and Grandpa Bobby and Aunt Jamie and Uncle Russell. I had a little girls day/night planned with my besties for Saturday so this was a great excuse to visit everyone! On Saturday we decided to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Motl in Brenham. They were so excited and we had a wonderful visit with them <3 After that I headed into town to meet up with the girls while Aunt Marilyn and Jamie and Russell visited with the girls (wish I could have been two places at once). It was such a fun weekend but it went by too fast again!

What The Girls are doing

Kairyn and Jaxyn continue to amaze us with how fast they are growing! They are both rolling over now and do not stay put at all! We have had to start strapping they down b/c they are constantly trying to go...I don't know where they are going, but its not where we put them.
This is what happens when you don't strap them in...Kairyn
They are still eating everything we make for them and love every second of meal time :)

Kai says "look no hands"

The girls get a little antsy when it comes to eating. When I have to feed them by myself they don't think I am fast enough lol.

They are grabbing everything and starting to put it in their mouth. It amazes Michael and I how much dexterity they have. They are very good at putting their pacifiers back in their mouth if they fall out (we like this a lot). Kairyn likes to steal her sister's paci if she doesnt have one. That being said, we cant leave them very close to each other or they end of slapping, scratching, or rolling on top of the other one---> so it begins.

Jaxyn on the left and Kai on the right, 2 minutes before this Michael gave Jaxyn that blue pacifier...in other words Kairyn is a little thief ;)

Using sippy cups! they love water! Jax with the cup and kai with the pacifier ;)

It is so great watching how much they like each other ;). They are more aware of the other now so when they get up from nap or awake in the morning they smile so big when they see each other. They also become very worried if one of them is crying. They are constantly looking for the other if they are out of their line of vision and touch each other every time they are close enough to.

They have very good core strength but cant sit up very long on their own before they tip to one side or the other. They love their rattles and books, but love their jumping swing even more! We now have a network on Direct TV that is called Baby First. The girls can't get enough of it! It is great for babies (and for mom when she needs to get stuff done around the house).

They are such happy babies and keep us laughing! We are so proud of them already!

 RIP Gig'em

My mom and Bobby's pup had to be put down at the beginning of this month :( ....Gig'em was my little fluff ball brother I loved very much. My sister first had him in College Station when she was at A&M (hence the name) but had to let him live with mom and Bobby for a little bit when she moved to Katy. Well mom and Bobby pretty much told Jamie "NO" when she mentioned taking him back so he became a wonderful companion for my parents. He blessed our lives with his funny attitude and random spurts of energy (he was part cat we think b/c he loved his sleep). He loved going on all the camping trips and riding around with Bobby on the mule. After going through a spinal surgery several years ago he became slow moving, but never lost his attitude :) He lived a long life, but of course for us it is never long enough. His kidneys started to fail and mom and Bobby were advised to put him down. Having recently gone through this myself with Patton my heart ached for my parents. See, our animals are such a huge part of our family and our hearts so when they pass it feels like we have lost a best friend. I pray that mom and Bobby find peace from the loss of their little angel and I myself cant wait to see all of their furry faces again one day.
